Oh The Weather Outside is.....A New Year Cometh

I walked out to my car and it was covered in about 5 inches of snow, no big deal, WRONG!  There was a layer of ice under the snow.  So I turn the heat on high and put my gloves on and wipe the snow off.  Now mind you I don't have a window scraper. So I rummage through my glove box and find a pair of scissors.  Now you may ask why do I have a pair of scissors in my glove box.  And I have an answer for you.  The answer is, I don't know.  But they worked so I could risk my life driving on the snow packed, ice covered roads.

Now out driving at 9:30 in the morning, you would think the roads were sanded or salted and has started to wear down.  Not so much.  The side streets were better to drive on than main roads. You would think there wouldn't be too many people out, again not so much.  There were tons of people out driving on these hazardous roads with me.

Why was I out risking my life?  I was going to get a physic reading from a really good physic and medium.

She told me I am  going to be meeting someone.  (I had to keep from doing a happy in dance in the middle of the reading.)   I wonder who he is.... He will be the almost perfect man for me.  He will help bring me back to where I want to be.

So I would have to say 2011 is going to be a great year, a year of lots of change and its a quick good change.  What do I wish for this new year?

1. To find the love of my life. Ok maybe just have a boyfriend.

2. To be able to move out on my own and stay there.

Sometimes they walk away.
Sometimes they act up and force you to take a stand.

What we must realize is that our need has been met, our
desire fulfilled, their work is done. The prayer you
sent up has been answered. And now it is time to move on.

When people come into your life for a SEASON . . .
Because your turn has come to share, grow, or learn.
They bring you an experience of peace, or make you laugh.
They may teach you something you have never done.
They usually give you an unbelievable amount
of joy. Believe it! It is real! But, only for a season.

LIFETIME relationships teach you lifetime lessons; things
you must build upon in order to have a solid emotional
foundation. Your job is to accept the lesson, love the
person, and put what you have learned to use in all
other relationships and areas of your life. It is said
that love is blind but friendship is clairvoyant.

Christmas Came Early

I am so excited. Today I got my Christmas present.... early!!  A brand new 13 in Mac Book Pro and let me tell you it is so sweet! Thanks Mom and Dad! Don't me wrong, I LOVE, I mean LOVE my iBook G4, but she has earned her retirement.  She has been through, lots of homework assignments, hundred upon hundreds of web page, lesson planning and a few accidents.  Just a few more days and I am on break.  This is the best of all.  I am looking forward to good food, family and sleeping in. Then returning to school refreshed and ready to take on the rest of the school year.  I do have to admit I am a little sad because there is a person or two missing from my life this year.  But it was their choices and I can't change it.  I always say, things happen for a reason.....

I am so stressed about my little Vivie.

Well, I am almost positive Vivie has what they call Polyradiculoneuritis "Coonhound Paralysis" She has all the symptoms. They can get it from raccoons, and heaven knows we don't have raccoons looking in my back door or eating my cat's food. But she is expected to have a full recovery.

Everyone I know is getting married or pregnant, I'm just getting drunk. I can't even really like this becasue I am not doing any of them....hmmm What is wrong with this picture???

Went to the vet. Vet doesnt think i am crazy. She has all the symptoms of coonhound paralysis!

To top off the day, we had 4 brand new puppies...3 boys and a girl.

Tuesday went on a field trip to the state fair, Tuesday night in the ER with cellulitis in my leg, Wednesday went to school, foot swelled 2x the size, Thursday had to stay home. But there was no Sub for to work for me.

Had an allergic reaction to the medication the ER put me on, I have never wanted someone to put me out of my misery as I did today!!!!

Thanks everyone!! I am doing so much better. I think over 2000 mg of antibiotics in a 24 hour period is enough for anyone. And now I can only maybe take ibuprofen, nothing else for pain...I am so screwed!!
